Alissa Megee
Alissa (she/her) has been a part of the Waysmeet community for over 13 years. It all started with attending one of the famous First Friday Dinner and Drum Circles during her freshman year at UNH. The energy and community she felt was enough to bring her back again and again! She completed her senior year Social Work internship at Waysmeet in 2010 and has been volunteering at Waysmeet events ever since. Alissa had been the Administrative Manager at Waysmeet for almost 5 years, and as of October 2022 has just joined Shanti as the Co-Executive Director! She is also a Certified Full Spectrum Doula. Alissa enjoys a good cup of tea, music, travel, films, sheep farming, cats, family time with her partner and daughter, sharing a homemade meal with loved ones and friends, and open conversation. She brings a warm and loving energy to Waysmeet and would love to sit down and talk with you over tea!
